At the 84th Bitcoin Austria Meetup, we presented the current situation in El Salvador. A 12-person delegation from Austria was in the country and at the Adopting Bitcoin Conference 2022, reporting on their impressions — including the changes after one year of Bitcoin as national currency.

Entry was only guaranteed with a Lightning ticket for 21,000 sats. All proceeds were donated to the school “Godofredo y Antonio de Graz” in Soyapango, El Salvador. Without a ticket, entry was possible from 19:00, subject to remaining capacity.
