We have no commercial interests. Donations and membership fees fund our work, so we can take an independent stand.

We focus on Bitcoin as an open monetary network with self-custody, verifiable rules, and free software. We work to preserve these properties and help people use them.
Privacy is non-negotiable
Financial privacy is part of personal freedom. We stand up for the ability to use Bitcoin privately.
Knowledge, not sales
Plenty of people want to sell you Bitcoin. We want you to understand it. We don't give investment advice.
Financial autonomy
Bitcoin can be held and used without a bank or mandatory payment processor. We want to keep it that way.
